TruthTrackers Bible Club will be starting weekly this fall at Chepachet Union Church! This club is centered around Scripture memory and also has Bible lessons and games (it is quite similar to the well-known Awana program or to a simplified VBS experience). It can be hard to stay on track with helping your kids memorize Scripture, so this is a great way to incorporate it into your schedule and make it fun! Truth Tracker FAQs:

  •  What ages is this for? Ages would be 3 years old to 6th grade with classes split into age groups.
  • What will the club meeting look like? Kids circle through 3 activities: 1) verse reciting time/craft or other hands-on activity; 2) lesson time; and 3) game time. Then we end with a group gathering for a song and closing prayer. 
  • What kind of commitment is required? This requires commitment to weekly attendance as well as working with your child/children during the week to work on their book/to learn their verse. 
  • Day and time? TBD - We’d like your feedback on this! We want to make this a day/time that works best for most, but it will most likely be Thursday evenings (Wednesday a possibility).
  • What is the cost? The program is very low cost. Families will be asked to cover the cost for their books/journals (varies between $13-15 per book depending on age group) and any other costs will be kept minimal. Donations are  welcome to help cover the other costs of the program. Church scholarships might be available based on need. 
  • When will you start/what is the program timing? We usually start mid-September, then break for Christmas, and continue through May. The program takes a break for the summer.
  • How can I help? We need volunteers to teach OR assist in the classes as well as people to organize and run a game time. Both events have pre-planned materials and little experience is required.
